This part of New Mexico has a great deal of available outdoors activities. And that's not all you can do here at Sapillo Trail. Drift down the rapids of Gila River in a kayak.
The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Stay the night at Cherry Creek Campground; Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is one of the destinations that are splendid to explore nearby. During the |
months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Sapillo Trail while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Sapillo Trail temperatures fall to the 10's.

A great site to take a look at in the vicinity of Sapillo Trail is Sheep Corral Canyon, and swing by West Fork Snow Creek it's a delightful site to visit.
