  New Mexico has so much to offer nature lovers. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Signal Peak Trail in Grant County, New Mexico is just what you need. Not much precipitation falls here at Signal Peak Trail; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and April is when it's the driest.
McMillan Spring is a great local attraction, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Gila River. Summertime highs at Signal Peak Trail generally tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures
    during the winter are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Signal Peak Trail tend to be in the 10's.
There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Black Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Signal Peak Trail is
located quite a long drive from Silver City but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Lots of folks from Silver City come to Signal Peak Trail; you can stay the night at McMillan Campground.
You simply should go for the Black Range. The sights at Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument will blow your mind. There's so much to do here at Signal Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Creek Campground is a pleasant spot for that.
