Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the San Francisco Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Rock Spring is a pretty place to have a look at while you're at Straight Up Trail; Straight Up Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Whitewater Campground is a great local campground.

time at Straight Up Trail if you fancy the outdoors. Midnight Spring is a glorious local attraction, and Tennessee Meadow is a delightful place. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the San Francisco Mountains. Float down the rapids of San Francisco River in a kayak; a
| glorious site is Camp Creek Saddle.
Through the warm days of summer highs here at Straight Up Trail get into the 90's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, generally in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Straight Up Trail sink into the 20's. East Fork Whitewater Creek flows through this area; camping at Ben Lilly Campground is always a great experience.
