day, Trampas Trailhead Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby, and float down the rapids of Rio Grande in a kayak. Rio San Leonardo is a glorious local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Trampas Trail has to offer, you can camp at Trampas Medio Campground.
| Throughout the months of summer at Trampas Trail highs are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Trampas Trail are in the 0's.
At Trampas Trail you don’t see much rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest.
