| | Hiking in New Mexico is such a great thing to do. Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Trotter Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is the outdoors at it's best. Don't leave Trotter Trail without first paying a visit to Lilley Park Spring, and why not take a little tour to White Creek while you're here. Trotter Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Dipping Vat Campground is a tremendous local campground; if you want a little side visit, try Packsaddle Canyon. this trail is very enjoyable. In the San Francisco Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. A wonderful place to camp here at Trotter Trail is Willow Creek Campground, and get soaked paddling on Gila River. Not much rain
| falls here at Trotter Trail; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. At Trotter Trail through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 20's for Trotter Trail. All year is a pleasant time in the San Francisco Mountains if you love the outdoors. Everybody loves Lilley Park; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try McKenna Creek. Be careful coming to Trotter Trail, you might not ever want to return back home again. | |
