| | Hiking in New Mexico is such a great thing to do. Trotter Trail gets very little rain; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is April. Throughout the summer months at Trotter Trail temperatures are mostly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Trotter Trail. Trotter Trail is a very long way away from civilization and if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. |

But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the San Francisco Mountains. A glorious place near Trotter Trail is Packsaddle Canyon, and Trotter Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Willow Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. Places like Lilley Park
| are pleasant to take a look at, and don't leave Trotter Trail without first paying a visit to Lilley Park Spring. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Trotter Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a really good place to spend some time. In the San Francisco Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Gila River, and swing by White Creek it's a great location to check out. There's so much to do here at Trotter Trail that you need to camp here | |
