  New Mexico is a good place for outdoors people. At Valle Trail you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. So many enjoyable things near Valle Trail, simply unbelievable.
Bandelier National Monument is a wonderful national park, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande. Summertime at Valle Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The
    winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Valle Trail all through the winter frequently dip into the 0's. Las Conchas Campground is a great campground nearby, and a journey to Valle Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Armstead Spring.
If you came for
an overnight stay Juniper Campground is a glorious location to camp; Pajarito Spring is an inspiring location to explore during your stay. Valle Trail is a long drive away from Los Alamos but trails like these are great. Hiking trails are all over the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, it's a great hiking area.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Lots of folks from Los Alamos come to Valle Trail, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rio Chama. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Valle Trail in Los Alamos County, New Mexico is such a great place.
