West Fork Angostura Trail is pretty waterless regularly; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You're sure to run into some cheerful people from Taos here, and glide down the rapids of Rio Pueblo de Taos in a kayak. A long drive separates Taos from West Fork Angostura Trail, but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
