There are some great whitewater spots on Taughannock Creek, and why not camp at Cool-lea Camp while you're here at Gorge Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at Gorge Trail temperatures are generally in the 80's; the night is slightly colder of course, usually in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Gorge Trail through the wintertime generally sink into the 10's. Gorge Trail is a good spot of normal precipitation; the month     of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is mostly the driest month. Camping is available at Potomac Group Campground.
