Kakiat Trail

New York is a good place for outdoors people. Kakiat Trail is located quite a long drive from New York-Newark-Edison but it is one of many great trails in this area. If you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some splendid whitewater. Lots of people from Suffern come to Kakiat Trail, and you can stay the night at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. During your stay at Kakiat Trail do stop by close by Old Sebago Beach, and get yourself into a kayak and
hit Ramapo River. There's so much to do here at Kakiat Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond is a splendid place for that. Diamond Creek is a stream that you may encounter while here. Time spent at New Sebago Beach
in close proximity to Kakiat Trail is always great; there's some flowing water close by, Pine Meadow Brook is a stream you can check out while here. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. You definitely have to visit Harriman State Park while you're here at Kakiat Trail. Kakiat Trail typically gets a large amount of precipitation. Of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February
is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Kakiat Trail, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Kakiat Trail.
