There's so much to do here at Kakiat Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Camp wabenaki is a glorious spot for that, and if you're here, you could explore Pine Meadow Brook. A day at Old Sebago Beach in close proximity to Kakiat Trail is time well spent, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Popolopen Creek.

idea to go to Diamond Creek. Summer at Kakiat Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Kakiat Trail. There are some tremendous whitewater
| spots on Ramapo River, and Kakiat Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Robert Moses is a great local campground.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Kakiat Trail. Kakiat Trail is a wet site that gets a great deal of rain; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February.
