  Outdoors people generally like this part of New York. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Norridge Trail in Herkimer County, New York is just the place. All the water falling down from the sky makes Norridge Trail a wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. In the Adirondack Mountains there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
Take a side visit to South Branch, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then,
    we recommend Moose River - South Branch. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. West Branch Beaver River is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at, and a splendid site to camp here at Norridge Trail is Nicks Lake Campgrounds.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Norridge Trail, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while Norridge Trail night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Far from civilization you find Norridge Trail and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. There's whitewater on Oswegatchie River - East Branch for all you adrenaline kick people, and camping at OLD Forge Camping Resort is always a great experience.
