In New York you never run out of outdoors fun. Stay the night at Kittatiny Campgrounds, and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is a very brilliant location to go to. If you're here at Schiff Trail, you could visit Lily Brook; Lackawaxen River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby.

River. Schiff Trail being so far away from the nearest city it's one of those places where hiking is great. Schiff Trail is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest.
