| | Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Spruceton Trail in Greene County, New York is the outdoors at it's best. This part of New York has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Hiking trails are all over the Catskill Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Spruceton Trail is a trail quite far from Kingston but it sure is a nice trail. Just can't get enough of the Catskill Mountains. You'll meet a lot of folks from Kingston here, and paddling on West Kill River is so much fun. All through the long summer days |
highs here at Spruceton Trail get into the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Spruceton Trail nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Stay the night at White Birches, and whitewater
| paddling is fine on East Kill River. The annual precipitation here at Spruceton Trail is about average; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. Taylor Hollow is in close proximity to Spruceton Trail and is unquestionably a brilliant place to visit.
