Paddling on Caesar Creek is so much fun. Cowan Creek is a brilliant spot to stop at, and at Dogwood Trail you always meet someone from Wilmington. The amount of rain that falls at Dogwood Trail is close to the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Second Creek. There's so much to do here at Dogwood Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Beechwood     Acres Camping is a wonderful place for that. Wilson Creek is a tremendous local stream, and if you came to camp Green Meadows Campgrounds is a splendid spot to do that. For the duration of the summer highs here at Dogwood Trail get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
