  There's whitewater on Big Creek for all you adrenaline people, and camping at Iroquois Trail is good fun, Windrush Hollow Camp is a good local campground. A long drive separates Akron from Iroquois Trail, but it sure is a nice trail.
Summer at Iroquois Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Iroquois Trail overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. You can run the rapids of Chagrin River - East
    Branch in close proximity to Iroquois Trail; Hosmer Lake is a perfect campground here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Iroquois Trail is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
