This trail was in a sad state. The lower loop was not bad but the upper loop was sooo damaged by falled trees. It was sad to behold. I began to dread seeing a pine plantation in the distance because I knew I would be scrabling off the path. This was my first time on the trail and I feel bad because I bet she was beautiful before all the damage.
Steward:
I like to start early and eat up up the whole trail in a day. It is a great two day trail, but is a good hard day used as a day trial. It is easy to follow and well thought out.
