  This part of Oklahoma is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. It's a long drive from Paris to Baggs Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Hiking trails are all over the Ouachita Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you.
Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Baggs Trail in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma is a great place to go. During your trip to Baggs
    Trail you'll meet some folks from Nashoba for sure; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Rocky Creek. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. There's so much to do here at Baggs Trail that
you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Home RV Park is a great place for that. There's whitewater on Glover River for all you adrenaline people. If you came to camp Clancey's Cabins and RV Park is a great spot to do that. A large amount of precipitation falls at Baggs Trail. May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Baggs Trail. Summer night lows drop  
down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; night lows in the 20's for Baggs Trail.
