East Signal Trail

Pretty rugged area. There isn't much in the way of facilities so be ready to bring all your own water and food in with you. Its a nice place to go but in summer the bugs can get to you. You'll also see first hand how clear cutting can really destroy the beauty of a place. There are areas that are very picturesque however.
Says Mitch Kelly

East Signal Trail being so far away from the nearest city hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great
place to do that. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and East Signal Trail in McCurtain County, Oklahoma is a great place to go. All the water falling down from the sky makes East Signal Trail a wet spot. September is
the month that gets the most rain, and May is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at East Signal Trail during the summer months are in the 80's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, generally in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 80's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at East Signal Trail fall into the 70's.
