Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Ouachita Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Throughout the long summer days here at Ferguson Trail, high temperatures typically reach the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Ferguson Trail. Ferguson Trail is in a quite desolate area and when you hike it you're always having |
a good time.
Ferguson Trail gets lots of water; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Get soaked paddling on Rocky Creek, and Polecat Creek is one of the streams close by that might be
| worth checking out. While visiting this area in Oklahoma it's a good idea to go hiking too. Be careful coming to the Ouachita Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ferguson Trail has to offer, you can camp at Clancey's Cabins and RV Park, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Little River.
