Ferguson Trail

  A visit to Oklahoma is not complete without some hiking. There are many hiking trails in the Ouachita Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Ferguson Trail in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma is a good choice. A long drive separates McAlester from Ferguson Trail, but it is a really good trail.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Polecat Creek; if you come at the right
    time of year, Rocky Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Ouachita Mountains. Stay the night at Mountain Home RV Park, and Ferguson Trail is not far at all from Nashoba.
Clancey's Cabins and RV Park is a perfect campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Ferguson Trail; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
