Because Walters Mule Trail is very far from civilization what a great place for hiking it is. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Walters Mule Trail has to offer, you can camp at Sardis Lake Campground, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Little River. This spot, the Ouachita Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Walters Mule Trail is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Indian Mounds Camp is a nice place |
to camp nearby, and why not a little side visit to Buffalo Creek.
