| | Gotta get out of the city man, and Alexander Trail in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania is just the place. Pretty far from State College you find Alexander Trail but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. This is such a wonderful river. Get drenched paddling on Kishacoquillas Creek, and Detweiler Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. From a rainfall point of view Alexander Trail is a reasonably typical spot; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest.

site to camp here at Alexander Trail is Hemlock Acres Campground; nearby you discover Rag Hollow which is a tremendous place to explore. Outdoors people generally like this part of Pennsylvania. Ross Run is a stream that you may come across while here.

For the period of the long summer days highs here at Alexander Trail reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Alexander Trail temperatures sink to the 10's. | |
