Alfarata Trail

  Alfarata Trail is a trail quite far from Lewistown but it sure is a nice trail. This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. If you're here at Alfarata Trail, you could explore Fowler Hollow Run, and if you came to camp Dogwood Acres is a wonderful location to do that. Paddling on Kishacoquillas Creek is so much fun, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Blain here. A glorious spot to visit near Alfarata Trail is
    First Narrows; needless to say Browns Run flows through this area. There's so much to do here at Alfarata Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Roxbury Holiness Camp is a splendid place for that. Alfarata Trail is a good place
of normal precipitation. The month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is frequently the driest month. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Alfarata Trail reach the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's.
