| | Finally, hiking time is here again, and if you happen to be in Franklin County of Pennsylvania, Amberson Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Amberson Trail is a trail quite far from Chambersburg but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Summer at Amberson Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Amberson Trail nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
Amberson Trail |
gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is January. Amberson Trail is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Dogwood Acres is a splendid local campground. You're sure to encounter some nice folks from Chambersburg here, and camping at Twin Bridge Meadow Family Campground is always a perfect experience.
