At Apple Tree Trail through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Apple Tree Trail. This is a great river. Bear Run flows through this area; Cedar Run has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. If you're here at Apple Tree Trail, you could go to Rocky Run, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can     always go whitewater paddling on Slate Run. Camping at Apple Tree Trail is brilliant fun, Kearse's Campground is a brilliant local campground; nearby you find perfect spots like Apple Tree Hollow. Apple Tree Trail is a good place of normal rainfall; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Creek Valley Camping is a great spot to camp, and Apple Tree Trail is not far at all from Lock Haven.
