    year, Cross Fork offers some magnificent whitewater. There's so much to do here at Bear Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Ox Yoke Inn is a tremendous spot for that. Near Bear Trail you come across Barnes Hollow which is
a good location to stop by, and Ole Bull State Park is a stunning location any time of year. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Young Womans Creek. Summertime highs at Bear Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Bear Trail. The yearly rain here at Bear Trail is about average. June is the month that gets the most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month.
