| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Berger Trail in Franklin County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. Berger Trail is a trail quite far from Chambersburg but it is a great escape from the city. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Licking Creek, and obviously Dothan Run is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. You can run the rapids of Sideling Hill Creek right next door to Berger Trail, and nearby Big Gap is a fine location to go.

Trail, and Berger Trail is a location with many visitors from Chambersburg. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Berger Trail. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Berger Trail nighttime
| low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Pennsylvania.
