| | Finally, hiking time is here again, and Big Mountain Trail in Clinton County, Pennsylvania is a perfect place for getting out. This river is a wonderful place to visit. You have to without doubt dedicate some time to Sand Spring Flat since you're here at Big Mountain Trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Williamsport. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Larrys Creek, and if you came to camp Holiday Pines Campground is a great site to do that.

Trail all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Big Mountain Trail. Sand Spring is always fun to check out.
