  This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. If you're here at Black Bear Trail, you could stop by Black Bear Run, and if you come at the right time of year, Black Moshannon Creek offers some delightful whitewater. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Black Bear Trail in Centre County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best.
Any time is a delightful time at Black Bear Trail if you like the outdoors. You might want to pay a visit to Barlow Hollow while you're here at Black Bear Trail, and camping
    is available at Snow Shoe Park. A quick tour to Sulphur Run close to Black Bear Trail is a magnificent idea, and Black Bear Trail is not far at all from DuBois.
Through the long summer days at Black Bear Trail highs are typically in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Highs
during the winter are commonly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Black Bear Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Moshannon River; camping at Woodland Campground is always a great experience. Much rainfall falls at Black Bear Trail; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
