| | Bowman Ridge Trail is not very near Winchester at all but it sure is a nice trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Bowman Ridge Trail is close to the national average; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Little Orleans Campground; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Town Creek.
Why not camp at Hideaway Campground since you're here at Bowman Ridge Trail. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Rob Spring, and Fifteen Mile Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby.
