A river like this is too good to miss. Boyer Trail is a perfect place to camp, Little Place Camping Area is a perfect place, and why not a little side journey to Craig Fork. Davis Cabin Hollow is a great place to visit close by; folks from Lock Haven love to come here. Stay the night at Sunrise Campgrounds; Slate Run is a nice whitewater spot nearby. You can run the rapids of Young Womans Creek close to Boyer Trail. High temperatures at Boyer Trail during the summer     are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows at Boyer Trail during the winter frequently descend into the 10's.
