The high level of rainfall makes Brown Trail a rather wet spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch; a good place to camp here at Brown Trail is Caffrey Recreation Area. | Stroudsburg; needless to say, all our national parks are magnificent spots to explore and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is no exception. Brown Trail is located quite a long drive from East Stroudsburg but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Throughout the days of summer here at Brown Trail, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Brown Trail tend to be in the 10's. Taking a little journey to close by Pickerel Point is a fine idea; why not a little side visit to Big Inlet. | |
