| | This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Brown Trail. Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch is a great whitewater spot next to Brown Trail, and camping at Caffrey Recreation Area is always a brilliant experience. Brown Trail is a long drive away from East Stroudsburg but when you hike it you're always having a good time.
For the duration of the summer at Brown Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the wintertime |

highs are ordinarily in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Brown Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. Coming to this river is always a good idea. Brown Trail is not far at all from East Stroudsburg, and Egypt Creek is close to Brown Trail and is always a bliss
| to visit. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek, and Brown Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Caffrey Campground is a wonderful local campground.
Brown Trail gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls through May; the driest month is February. Do explore Egypt Meadow Dam since you're here at Brown Trail, and why not take a little spree to Big Inlet since you're here. Not far from Brown Trail you hit upon Pickerel Point, and a tour to Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is worthwhile.
