| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Pike County of Pennsylvania, Burley Inlet Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Lots of folks from East Stroudsburg come to Burley Inlet Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Big Inlet. You can take a little visit to Number Three Dam while you're here at Burley Inlet Trail; getting to Dark Hollow Run from Burley Inlet Trail is uncomplicated.

Scenic & Recreational River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Secluded Acres Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you can run the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. Burley Inlet Trail is
| a rather wet place typically with a great deal of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the driest month.
Why not camp at Ledgedale Recreation Area while you're here at Burley Inlet Trail, and a fine location for whitewater paddling is Wallenpaupack Creek. At Burley Inlet Trail during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Burley Inlet Trail. Burley Inlet Trail is a long drive away from East Stroudsburg but it is a good trail.
