| | While visiting this area in Pennsylvania it's a good idea to go hiking too. Pretty far from State College you find Butler Trail but what a great place for hiking it is. Butler Trail is a good place of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and January is when it's the driest. This is a great river. Sugar Camp Run is a tremendous place to pop by. There's so much to do here at Butler Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Austin Campground is a glorious place for that.

Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Nelson Run Camping Resort is a good local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Young Womans Creek offers some great whitewater, and you don’t have to go far from Butler Trail to see the water at Kettle Creek Lake Dam.
| Glide down the rapids of Cross Fork in a kayak, and Butler Hollow is a fine location to check out.
Can’t wait to get out in nature, Butler Trail in Clinton County, Pennsylvania is a really good place to spend some time. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Butler Trail. During the summer at Butler Trail highs are ordinarily in the 70's; the night is quite chillier of course, usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Butler Trail are in the 10's.
