Butler Trail is not very near State College at all but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. There's so much to do here at Butler Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Quiet Oaks Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and Kettle Creek Lake Dam is a spot that is in close proximity to Butler Trail.

Young Womans Creek is a glorious whitewater spot near Butler Trail, and Butler Hollow is another splendid site to stop by close by. Butler Trail truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Butler Trail; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Butler Trail.
