| | No chance of getting bored in Pennsylvania if you like the outdoors. Cammal Trail is a trail quite far from Lock Haven but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Don't forget to take a good little tour to Ross Run, and unsurprisingly, A tour to Watt Hollow is always fun.
Camping at Cammal Trail is great fun, Pettecote Junction Campground is a great local campground, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Cedar Run. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cammal Trail. When the night sets |
in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Cammal Trail dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
This is such a wonderful river. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Creek Valley
| Camping is a delightful spot to camp; if you come at the right time of year, Slate Run offers some wonderful whitewater. Cammal Trail gets a common amount of annual rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Watson Fork is a stunning stream that is worth a visit; you'll meet a lot of people from Lock Haven here.
