| | A visit to Pennsylvania is not complete without some hiking. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Campbell Trail. If you came to camp Pine Creek Valley Camping is a tremendous place to do that, and there's whitewater on Cedar Run for all you adrenaline people. Campbell Trail gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Campbell Trail is a long drive away from Lock Haven but it is a really good trail. Campbell Trail is a location with many visitors |
from Lock Haven, and do stop at Second Big Fork if you're here at Campbell Trail. This river is always fun. First Big Fork is a wonderful stream that is worth going to; a splendid location close by is Cannon Hole Hollow. For the period of the months of summer at Campbell Trail
| highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Campbell Trail are in the 10's. Campbell Trail is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Little Place Camping Area is a pleasant local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Slate Run.
