| | No chance of getting bored in Pennsylvania if you like the outdoors. You'll have to go far from DuBois to get to Campfield Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Moshannon River, and why not check out Dayton Dam while you're here. Campfield Trail is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
Campfield Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Blue Diamond |
is a tremendous local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Black Moshannon Creek offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Campfield Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Snow Shoe Park is a fine place for that.
