| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Camslab Trail in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania is just the place. This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. There's whitewater on Miners Run for all you adrenaline people, and the nice people of Sayre like to hang out close by. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk Creek, and let's not forget Little Swamp Run which is a stream that you may run into while here.
Camping is available at The Best Beach Campground, and the |
trees of Wyoming State Forest are a delightful source of shade on hot summer days. Just can't get enough of Camslab Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Camslab Trail; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is January.
Camping
| at Buttermilk Falls Campground is always a wonderful experience, and there's some flowing water nearby, Swamp Run is a stream you can stop by while you're here. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Camslab Trail reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Camslab Trail sink into the 10's.
