| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Carnes Trail in Bedford County, Pennsylvania is a good choice. Carnes Trail is not very near Cumberland at all but hiking it is great fun any time. A glorious spot right next door to Carnes Trail is Summerville Gap, and you can run the rapids of Flintstone Creek. This river is so great. Why not camp at Devils Alley Campground since you're here at Carnes Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Town Creek Aqueduct Campground is a nice spot to camp.
