The yearly rainfall here at Carnes Trail is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most; January meanwhile is the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flintstone Creek, and glide down the rapids of Town Creek in a kayak. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Carnes Trail temperatures fall to the 10's. Carnes Trail is a trail quite far from Cumberland but it is a really good trail.
