| | It's a long drive from Lock Haven to Chestnut Trail but it is a really good trail. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Chestnut Trail in Tioga County, Pennsylvania is a perfect place for getting out. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Chestnut Trail. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Chestnut Trail. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Pennsylvania.
This river is a wonderful place to visit. Take |
a little visit to Gilbert Run while you're here at Chestnut Trail; nearby you discover splendid spots like Dead Horse Hollow. Pine Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. Some close by water includes Mill Run; camping is available at Kearse's Campground.
