| | Collier Trail is a trail quite far from Lewistown but It's always fun to hike here. Collier Trail gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This river is a wonderful place to visit. Stay the night at Idle Acres Camping Area, and you're sure to bump into some great folks from Lewistown here. Don’t forget to take a look at Big Kettle since you're here at Collier Trail, and close by Rag Hollow is a great site to go. You'll need more |
than a day to look at everything Collier Trail has to offer, you can camp at Hemlock Acres Campground.
Summertime at Collier Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's,
| | and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Collier Trail fall into the 10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kishacoquillas Creek, and do go to Detweiler Run while you're here at Collier Trail. | |
