| | You'll have to go far from State College to get to Commissioner Run Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking. This is such a fun river. Commissioners Run is a lovely stream that is worth visiting, and Buckhorn Hollow is without doubt a splendid spot to go to. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Moshannon River, and camping at Commissioner Run Trail is fine fun, Austin Campground is a fine local campground.

go whitewater paddling on Cross Fork. Why not pop by close by Mill Run since you're here at Commissioner Run Trail, and Snow Shoe Park is a great campground here. Commissioner Run Trail ordinarily gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June; the
