| | Cryder Trail is located quite a long drive from Lock Haven but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Second Big Fork is near Cryder Trail and is always a joy to stop at; you'll most likely meet some people from Lock Haven here. From a rainfall point of view Cryder Trail is a reasonably typical site; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month.
Get wet paddling on Slate Run. There's so much to do here at Cryder Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Creek Valley Camping is a pleasant place |

for that. All through the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Cryder Trail. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Cryder Trail dipping down into the 10's
| during winter nights. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Run.
Stay the night at Little Place Camping Area, and some nearby water includes First Big Fork. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Cryder Trail in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. | |
