  Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Cut Off Trail in Clinton County, Pennsylvania is a great place to go. Cut Off Trail is located quite a long drive from State College but hiking it is great fun any time. Don't leave Cut Off Trail without stopping by Sinnemahoning State Park, and Snow Shoe Park is a great local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mosquito Creek, and you'll meet a lot of people from Pottersdale here. There are some great
    whitewater spots on Moshannon River, and Kettle Creek State Park is a wonderful campground nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Cut Off Trail a relatively wet place. The month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while
January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Cut Off Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cut Off Trail.
