Deaf Run Trail

  Pennsylvania is a great place for hikers. Deaf Run Trail is located quite a long drive from Lewistown but trails like these are great. Elk Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; at Deaf Run Trail you always meet someone from Centre Hall. Do stop at Colyer Lake Dam while you're here at Deaf Run Trail; close by you discover Boal Gap which is a splendid site to stop at. There's so much to do here at Deaf Run Trail that you need to camp here
    for a while, Seven Mountains Campground is a splendid place for that. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kishacoquillas Creek. Everybody loves Faust Flat, and obviously Boal Gap Run flows
through this area. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the vicinity of Deaf Run Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deaf Run Trail has to offer, you can camp at Bob Kearns Campgrounds. From a rain point of view Deaf Run Trail is a rather normal spot. June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. At Deaf Run Trail all through the summer highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly  
in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Deaf Run Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
