  Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Double Run Trail in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania is a great place to go. Double Run Trail is a long drive away from Sayre but it is a good trail. If you come at the right time of year, Elk Creek offers some wonderful whitewater; you can stay the night at Hemlock Valley Campground.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Double Run Trail while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Double Run Trail dipping down into the 10's throughout
    winter nights. This place, Double Run Trail, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Pioneer Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Sayre.
Float down the rapids of Loyalsock Creek in a kayak; there's
some flowing water nearby, High Rock Run is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. The annual rain here at Double Run Trail is about average; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cold Run Road Falls, and unsurprisingly Double Run flows through this area.
