| | Dry Hollow Trail is not very near State College at all but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Dry Hollow Trail gets much water; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
Summertime at Dry Hollow Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Dry Hollow Trail. This place is unbeatable, just check |
out all the cool things to do right next door to Dry Hollow Trail. You're sure to encounter some friendly people from State College here. Camping at Hemlock Acres Campground is always a perfect experience, and you can run the rapids of Moshannon River.
You can take a little
| visit to Kephart Dam since you're here at Dry Hollow Trail, and don't forget to take a perfect little trip to North Run. There's whitewater on Black Moshannon Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you came to camp Snow Shoe Park is a glorious place to do that. There's a great forest right next door to Dry Hollow Trail called Moshannon State Forest; it's a perfect idea to check out Smays Run.
