  Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Fallen Timber Trail in Centre County, Pennsylvania is a great place to go. Fallen Timber Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday Pines Campground is a great local campground, and lots of people from Lewisburg come here. A great spot to camp here at Fallen Timber Trail is Mountain Lake Campground; since you're here, you might as well take a look at Stover Gap.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Fallen Timber Trail is close to the national average; through the month of June you get the
    most rain around here while January is typically the driest month. Through the days of summer highs here at Fallen Timber Trail reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 30's while Fallen Timber Trail overnight low temperatures
during the winter are in the 10's. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Horse Path Spring, and if you come at the right time of year, Elk Creek offers some fine whitewater.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend White Deer Creek. It's a long drive from Lewisburg to Fallen Timber Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.
