| | Pennsylvania is a great place for hikers. Farmer Shanty Trail is a trail quite far from Lock Haven but It's always fun to hike here. At this river you will always have a good time. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Slate Run, and hey, Bear Run is a glorious local stream. Summertime highs at Farmer Shanty Trail commonly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Farmer |

Camping at Farmer Shanty Trail is perfect fun, Kenshire Kampsite is a perfect local campground, and why not a little side spree to Francis Branch. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Farmer Shanty Trail; the wettest month of the year
| is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Kearse's Campground is a nice spot to camp, and this is a popular site for people from Lock Haven.
Butler Hollow is near Farmer Shanty Trail and is certainly a glorious site to pop by, and Cedar Run has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much amusing stuff to do here at Farmer Shanty Trail, too perfect to be true.
