Pretty far from Williamsport you find Fisher Trail but hiking it is great fun any time. Sawmill Creek is a great local stream, and if you come at the right time of year, Tioga River offers some glorious whitewater. Tanglewood Camping is a tremendous local campground, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Williamsport. The annual precipitation here at Fisher Trail is about average; the month with most of the rain is June; January meanwhile is the driest     month. Bucktail Camping Resort is a good campground nearby, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Babb Creek. Through the summer highs here at Fisher Trail reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
