| | You'll have to go far from Lock Haven to get to Flat Ridge Trail but it sure is a nice trail. Stay the night at Sunrise Campgrounds; there are plenty of people from Lock Haven here at Flat Ridge Trail. If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking.
Flat Ridge Trail is a good place of common rain; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is January. High temperatures at Flat Ridge Trail during the days of summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime |

brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Flat Ridge Trail descend into the 10's. Flat Ridge Trail is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Little Place Camping Area is a splendid spot to camp nearby; whitewater paddling
| is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Young Womans Creek.
Take a side visit to Craig Fork, and Davis Cabin Hollow is a pleasant spot to spend some time. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Slate Run. | |
