| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Juniata County of Pennsylvania, Footbridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. The yearly precipitation here at Footbridge Trail is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is January. Stay the night at Locust Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elk Creek.

Country Campground is a wonderful site for that, and this is a popular site for people from Lewistown. This is such a fun river. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Kishacoquillas Creek. Through the warm months at Footbridge Trail highs are generally in the 80's. Summer
| night lows descend down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Footbridge Trail temperatures dip to the 10's.
